Vent space
A private page that belongs only to you. Write at 3am, leave it unfinished, come back or delete it. No streaks, no scores, nobody reading over your shoulder.
Wellness and cooking, one app
Talk to a licensed psychiatrist, keep a private space for the thoughts you haven't said out loud, and cook live with chefs who love what they do.
Free to download. Sessions and classes are booked inside the app.
What Akilil is
Two things carried most of us through hard years: someone to talk to, and something good to make with our hands. Akilil is built around both.
Your sessions and your classes live side by side, and nothing crosses over. What you say to a psychiatrist stays with your psychiatrist.
Tell Akilil what's going on in your own words. You'll see psychiatrists who work with it, when they're free, and what a session costs before you book.
Classes run live in small groups. The chef can see your pan, you can ask why the onions aren't there yet, and the recipe stays in your library afterwards.
Akilil Wellness
Everything here is built around one idea: it should be easy to reach for help on an ordinary day, not only on the worst one.
A private page that belongs only to you. Write at 3am, leave it unfinished, come back or delete it. No streaks, no scores, nobody reading over your shoulder.
Browse real profiles — training, licence number, languages spoken, what they treat most, and how they like to work. Filter by evening or weekend availability, then book the slot you can actually make.
Sessions and notes are encrypted in transit and at rest. Your cooking activity is never visible to a clinician, and your clinical record is never used to recommend a class.
Short check-ins your psychiatrist can set for you — sleep, mood, medication — so the next session starts with what actually happened, not what you can remember.
Akilil isn't an emergency service. When something can't wait, the app puts local crisis lines and the nearest emergency care one tap away, before anything else.
Akilil Cooking
Chefs teach the dishes they'd cook on their own day off. Classes are live, small, and built so you end the hour with dinner on the table.

The app
Book a session on the bus. Join a class from the kitchen. Everything works on the connection you actually have.
In their words
I finally found a space where I could talk without feeling judged.
Learning Ethiopian food from an actual chef, from my phone, is incredible.
Booking took four minutes. I'd been putting it off for two years.
The vent space is the only place I write honestly.
About Akilil
Akilil started from a simple observation: people will open an app to learn a recipe long before they'll open one to say they're struggling. So we built one place that earns both kinds of visit.
Every clinician on Akilil is licensed and verified before their profile goes live. Akilil does not provide emergency care.
